My valentine to immigrants, I came up with the concept for this piece on a Thursday. I quickly created a down and dirty storyboard (see second image below) and began drawing assets in Adobe Illustrator. Over the weekend I imported my Ai files into Adobe After Effects and animated as time allowed, finishing on Monday, Valentine's Day. - Joe Gast
